Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant
Job Title: Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Learning Support Assistant (SEND LSA) Location: Bromley Hours: Full-time, 9am - 5pm Salary: Competitive, based on experience Start Date: September We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and managing challenging behaviour. As an LSA, you will play a crucial role in helping our students achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND. • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). • Manage and support students exhibiting challenging behaviour. • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment. • Monitor and record students' progress and provide feedback. • Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students. Requirements: • Previous experience working with students with SEMH and challenging behaviour. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Relevant qualifications or training in SEND support (desirable).
