Job Title: SEND TA- ARP
Job Vacancy: ARP Teaching Assistant - Southall (Near Southall Station) Axcis are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced ARP teaching assistant to join a mainstream primary school’s Autism Provision Unit near Southall Station starting from the next term (April). This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children with SEND, such as, ASD, speech and language, particularly those who are pre-verbal and may present with challenging behaviors, including potential violent outbursts. The children's ages are reception - KS1,and you will be supporting in line with their ECHP's. Key Responsibilities: -Supporting pre-verbal children with SEND -Managing and supporting children with challenging behaviors, including potential violent outbursts -Working in a primary school ARP setting to deliver tailored support Requirements: -Proven SEND experience in a classroom or ARP setting -Ability to manage challenging behaviors with a patient and proactive approach -DBS on the Update Service is mandatory Position Details: Location: Southall (Near Southall Train Station) Start Date: April Hours: 5 days a week, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Setting: Mainstream Primary School’s Autism Provision Unit If you have experience in this field and are interested in the role, we’d love to hear from you!
