Job Title: SEND Teacher
Axcis Education are proud to be supporting an exceptional SEND School in Bradford that supports over 100 of the citys most vulnerable young people. A multi-site setting, the school are recruiting for a Teacher at their main site which boasts outstanding outdoor provision, multi-sensory rooms, soft play, food technology rooms and the enormously popular pupil-tailored rooms which are used to support pupils with their sensory processing. In addition to the resources highlighted above, the main site also boasts a multi-sensory hydrotherapy pool, rebound therapy room, music therapy room and jungle gym (soft play room). Equally, the school has a wonderful local reputation and has excellent links to the wider Bradford Community.
Axcis are recruiting for a Lower School Classteacher with experience or the desire to learn and grow in a classroom with pupils with complex needs, including, but not limited to ASD, Communication Needs, Physical Disabilities and Sensory-Processing Needs. You will need to have QTS or be an ECT looking to complete induction in order to apply for this role.
A calm, nurturing and attentive personality is required, as well as the desire to tailor learning and progress for each child in the classroom. Although the requirement is ideally for an immediate start applications for the Summer Term would be considered.
