Job Title: SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT - CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly with students who exhibit challenging behaviour. This role requires strong behaviour management skills and a confident, calm demeanour to support our students effectively. Key Responsibilities: Assist the classroom teacher in delivering tailored educational support to students with SEND. Implement and manage behaviour strategies to promote a positive learning environment. Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who require additional support. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with other staff members and professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Requirements: Previous experience working with children with SEND, including those with challenging behaviour. Strong behaviour management skills. Confident and calm demeanour in the face of challenging situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students' individual needs.
