Axcis are looking for a dedicated individual with a calm and empathetic nature to work in a school in Handsworth. The school is looking to recruit a teaching assistant to join their pro-active team. This is a full-time position for the remainder of the 24/25 academic year with the potential for a permanent position due to the schools expansion. The perfect TA will support pupils on a 1 to 1 or small group basis. In depth subject knowledge is not essential, instead, skills/experience in working with individuals with complex Autism (ASD) including sensory needs, challenging behaviour and personal care needs is essential.
