Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our SEND provision team. The successful candidate will work with students who have complex needs and exhibit challenging behaviour. This role requires strong behaviour management skills and a confident, calm demeanour to effectively support our students. Key Responsibilities: Support the classroom teacher in delivering tailored educational programs for students with SEND. Implement and manage behaviour strategies to create a positive learning environment. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with complex needs. Monitor and track student progress, offering regular feedback to teachers and parents. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with other staff members and professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Requirements: Previous experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with complex needs and challenging behaviour. Strong behaviour management skills. Confident and calm demeanour in challenging situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive and flexible approach to supporting students' individual needs.
