Job Title: SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT - PERSONAL CARE REQUIRED
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to work with primary and secondary-aged students with moderate to severe ASD. Key Responsibilities: Provide personalized support to students with moderate to severe ASD. Assist with personal care needs, ensuring the dignity and comfort of each student. Support classroom activities, helping to create an inclusive learning environment. Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and work closely with teachers to adapt lessons as needed. Utilize effective communication strategies to engage and support students. Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents. Requirements: Experience working with children with ASD or special educational needs. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment. Relevant qualifications or training in special education (preferred but not essential). Benefits: Competitive daily rate of £95.
