Axcis education are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistants to join our team in a secondary school located in the Wirral. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to support students with social, emotional, and learning difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to young people. You will be required to work with small groups of secondary age pupils, assisting them with their key skills and helping to keep them on task. Key Responsibilities: • 121 supports with the students • Support students in their academic work and promote positive behaviour. • Foster a supportive and safe classroom environment. • Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement effective strategies for learning. • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. • Help with the preparation of resources and classroom activities. • Build positive relationships with students, encouraging their personal and social development. Requirements: • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting. • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students. • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. • A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity. • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential.
