Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Axcis is on the lookout for dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students with diverse additional needs, offering assistance in both mainstream and specialist SEND settings. You’ll play a key role in helping young people excel academically and socially, making a positive impact on their educational journey.
Key Details of the Role:
• Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
• Start Date: Immediate
• Working Hours: 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM (during term time)
• Location: NW10
• Pay: £83.40 – £90 per day, depending on experience (PAYE)
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 or small group support for students aged 16+ with diverse needs such as Autism, ADHD, speech, and language difficulties, and SEMH challenges.
• Support students in both mainstream classrooms and specialist SEND settings.
• Engage in a structured learning programme designed to help students with learning difficulties progress academically.
• Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment for students with additional needs.
