SEND Teaching Assistant – Morden, SM4 Start Date: Immediate Working Hours: 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM (Term Time) Location: Morden, SM4 Pay: £83.40 – £90 per day (PAYE), depending on experience Axcis Education is seeking compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team and support students with Autism in specialist SEND settings. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work with students aged 3 to 19 on a 1:1 or small group basis, supporting their learning and development. Your key responsibilities will include providing personal care when necessary, ensuring students' comfort and well-being, and working alongside the classroom teacher to implement individualized education plans. You will also play a key role in fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with Autism in a specialist SEND setting. • Assist with personal care and ensure the comfort and safety of students. • Collaborate with the class teacher to implement tailored education plans. • Help create an inclusive, supportive environment where students can thrive both academically and socially. What We’re Looking For: • Caring, dedicated individuals with a passion for supporting students with Autism. • Experience in SEND settings is preferred but not essential. • Both day-to-day and long-term opportunities available during term time. • A positive, proactive approach to working with children and young adults with additional needs.
