Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Are you a compassionate individual passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? A welcoming special needs primary school in Streatham Hill seeks a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join its inclusive team.
Location: Streatham Hill
Position: Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant (5 days/week)
Pay: Competitive rate
Role & Responsibilities:
- Support children with PMLD and autism, helping them access the curriculum.
- Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement individual learning plans.
- Provide one-on-one support, including academic assistance and personal care.
- Foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
- Use communication strategies and assistive technologies to aid student development.
- Track progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
Requirements:
- Experience with PMLD and Autism
- Relevant qualifications
- Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.
