Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

SEND Teaching Assistant – Specialist Provision (Primary) – West Drayton
Axcis is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in West Drayton that is currently looking for a dedicated, resilient, and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their specialist resource provision.
You will be supporting a small group of up to 10 children from Year 1 to Year 5, all of whom have varying needs including ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. Working alongside a skilled teacher and a supportive team of TAs, you will help provide structure, consistency, and care to children who thrive with the right guidance and attention.
About the Role:

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30
Location: West Drayton
Position: Full-time, Long-term

Axcis are looking for someone who:
-Has experience working with children with SEND and challenging behaviour
-Can be firm but fair, setting clear boundaries with compassion
-Remains calm, patient, and positive, even in high-pressure situations
-Is resilient, adaptable, and committed to helping every child succeed
-Holds a DBS on the Update Service
-Team Teach certification is desirable (or willingness to complete the training)
