Job Title: Special Needs Support - Temp To Perm
Axcis Education are proud to be working with a fantastic secondary special needs school, located in Sale, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate and proactive SEND teaching assistant. This role is to start ASAP.
In this role, you will support students with special educational needs (SEND), including ASD, PMLD and other complex needs, helping them to achieve their potential in a structured, caring, and empowering environment. You will be working primarily with secondary-aged students, so experience in this age group or within SEND is ideal. However, candidates from youth work or care backgrounds are also highly encouraged to apply, as your transferable skills will be valued here.
Key Requirements:
- Proactive and flexible: You’ll need to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school day.
- SEND Experience: You must have experience with SEND, ideally with secondary or college-aged children.
- Enhanced DBS: You must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Availability: This role requires commitment, working Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
