Job Title: Specialist College Teaching Assistant
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced College SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. This role offers a daily pay rate starting from £85, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Please note, we are unable to consider part-time applications for this position. Key Responsibilities: • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in both classroom and 1:1 settings. • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs. • Provide personal care where necessary, ensuring the students' comfort and well-being throughout the day. • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure the best educational experience for each student. • Engage in daily activities that support students’ academic, social, and personal development. Essential Requirements: • A minimum of 6 months experience working in a UK-based SEN role, either in an educational or care setting. • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. • A valid Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service. • A relevant degree or qualification. • Confidence in providing personal care and supporting students with complex needs. • Ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and working environments as needed. This is a temporary full-time role, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting students with SEN and helping them achieve their potential.
