Job Title: Teaching Assistant, Autism
Axcis Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with SEND at a welcoming primary school in Bedminster, Bristol. This full-time, term-time only role (8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday) is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children with autism, speech and language delays, and additional learning needs.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to a KS2 pupil with autism and speech and language difficulties.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering structured learning activities.
• Implement tailored interventions to support social, emotional, and academic progress.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages engagement and independence.
• Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external professionals to develop and follow individual support plans.
