Job Title: Teaching Assistant - behaviour support
We are looking for a dedicated and resilient teaching assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in a mainstream primary school in the Altrincham area.
The role involves providing one-to-one support for a child with challenging behaviour, helping them to engage with learning, manage their emotions, and develop positive relationships within the school environment.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, starting after the February half-term and continuing until the end of the academic year.
We are looking for someone with patience, strong behaviour management skills, and a nurturing approach to working with children who require additional support. Experience working with children with behavioural needs and EHCPs is desirable, but a proactive and compassionate attitude, as well as experience working in a UK school is essential.
