Job Title: Teaching Assistant KS 2
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team in a mainstream primary school, supporting students in Key Stage 2 (Years 4, 5, and 6). This role involves working closely with children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those who exhibit challenging behavior.
Position Details:
Role: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Mainstream Primary School
Year Groups: Key Stage 2 (Years 4, 5, and 6)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Pay: £93+ per day / experience dependent
Requirements:
Experience in supporting children with ASD and managing challenging behavior
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
Provide targeted support to students, helping them to achieve their individual learning goals
Work 1:1 or in small groups with students requiring additional assistance
Support the class teacher with lesson preparation, classroom management, and behavior strategies
Foster a positive, safe, and engaging classroom atmosphere
