Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a Key Stage 1 setting, providing 1:1 support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and managing challenging behavior. This role requires patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting young children. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support to students with SEMH needs and challenging behavior. Assist in implementing personalized support plans. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create effective support strategies. Monitor and report on students' progress and behavior. Assist with classroom management and administrative tasks as needed. Requirements: Experience working in schools or as a youth worker supporting SEMH needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage challenging behavior effectively. Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting young children. Availability to work full-time.
