Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Primary
Experienced Teaching Assistant Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant Location: Mainstream Primary School Start Date: November We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in a vibrant mainstream primary school. This role requires someone who is passionate about supporting students with special needs and is comfortable working 1:1 with children who have ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and other complex needs. Key Responsibilities: Morning Support: Working with students in Reception, providing individualised support. Afternoon Support: Supporting students in Year 2, ensuring their specific learning and personal needs are met. 1:1 Support: Tailoring assistance to meet the needs of children with ASD and other complex learning requirements. Personal Care: Assisting students with personal care where necessary. Requirements: Proven experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly ASD. Ability to provide 1:1 support in both academic and personal care contexts. A positive, empathetic, and patient approach to working with children. Availability for full-time work, starting after the half term break. Willingness to adapt and support children with varying levels of need.
