Do you have a background working in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) or with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If so, we would love for you to join our team in EN3! About the Role We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to work full-time in our dedicated and inclusive SEND school. In this role, you will: Provide tailored support to students with SEND, particularly those with SEMH challenges. Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and ensuring that all students can access the curriculum. Build positive relationships with students, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to meet each student’s individual needs. Foster a safe and nurturing environment where students feel supported and valued. About You To excel in this role, you will need: Prior experience working in a PRU or supporting students with SEMH or SEND needs. A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to working with young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with students, staff, and families. A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a genuine commitment to helping students overcome challenges and achieve their potential. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential if you have the right experience.
