Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEN
Axcis are seeking a full-time teaching assistant to join an alternative provision in Hillingdon. Working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, you will support students with social, emotional, and mental health and know how to deal with challenging behaviour. The provision is proud to partner with a mixed community special School in Hillingdon, catering to pupils aged 4-19 with moderate to severe learning difficulties, often alongside medical or physical needs. The school offers excellent facilities, sensory rooms, and outdoor learning areas, and is committed to fostering inclusion and integration with nearby mainstream schools. Pupils benefit from opportunities for shared lessons and social interactions, ensuring a holistic and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEMH, demonstrate patience, and possess strong skills in managing challenging behaviour. You will play a key role in fostering a supportive and positive environment for students.
