Position Details: Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: SEN Secondary School, Enfield (EN3) Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 5 days per week (Long-term, full-time role) Contract Type: Long-term Key Responsibilities: -Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEMH and behavioural needs, helping them manage their emotions and engage in learning. -Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create tailored learning plans and interventions that meet the individual needs of students. -Assist in the delivery of lessons and ensure students are fully included in all activities, both academic and social. -Support students in developing their independence and confidence, both inside and outside the classroom. Ideal Candidate: -Previous experience working with SEMH, behavioural issues, or in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) is essential. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and manage challenging situations with patience and empathy. -Passionate about helping students with SEMH needs and committed to making a positive impact on their lives. -Ability to commit to a long-term, full-time role.
