Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about supporting the education and development of young learners?
Do you have a keen interest in working within a primary school setting?
If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as a Teaching Assistant at a large mainstream school within the Runcorn area. This school operates both a Primary and Secondary base, working with children ages 5 - 16.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to provide support and assistance within the classroom. Your role will be crucial in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for the students, helping them thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
Work with small groups or individual students, providing targeted support and guidance.
Help maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
Support students with their learning and understanding of core subjects, such as English, Mathematics, Science, and other curriculum areas.
Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their self-esteem and well-being.
Monitor and record students' progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns to the class teacher.
Collaborate with the teaching staff and other teaching assistants to contribute to the overall success of the school community.

Challenging Behaviour
Cerebral Palsy
Complex Needs
PMLD
Severe Learning Difficulties
