Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity? A vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in Kingsbury is seeking a dedicated and skilled Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a positive impact on the lives of their students.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in their learning and development.
Working closely with teachers to deliver tailored support to individuals and small groups.
Providing assistance to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Supporting students with specific needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), challenging behaviour, and Down’s Syndrome.
Requirements:
Prior UK-based experience working in a school setting is essential.
Knowledge and understanding of working with students with SEND is highly beneficial.
Proven ability to support students with additional needs, particularly ASD, challenging behaviour, and Down’s Syndrome, is advantageous.
Must be available to work full-time and able to start immediately.
