The school caters to a wide variety of diagnosis' as per the course of most special needs schools. Pupils can be as young as 4 up to the age of 19 and look at ways to develop not just school curriculum for the students but also social and emotional development and cognitive functions. The school supports students with autism to PMLD and challenging behaviours. They widely use Makaton throughout the school so anyone with a good knowledge of this form of sign would be advantageous. The school has great outdoor spaces for students, sensory rooms and a swimming pool along with a skills café for older students to learn vital life skills to better introduce them to working life.
