We’re currently looking for a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive PRU Secondary School in Bidston, Wirral. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a Year 8 pupil with behavioural needs, SEMH, and literacy challenges, making a real difference in their educational journey. About the Role: 1. Location: Bidston, Wirral (near Bidston Moss retail park, easily accessible from the metro stop). 2. Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 5 days per week. 3. Pay: £87-£95 per day (PAYE, depending on experience). 4. Duties: o Provide 1:1 support to a Y8 pupil with SEMH and behavioural needs. o Assist the pupil with literacy work and provide tailored support. o Support with intervention strategies where required. What We’re Looking For: 1. Experience working with children or young adults is essential. 2. A DBS on the update service is desirable (if you don’t have one, we can support with a new application). 3. Someone who is patient, supportive, and dedicated to helping children thrive.
