Job Title: Tutors Wanted!
Are you a passionate and experienced tutor looking for flexible work supporting primary or secondary students? Axcis Education are seeking dedicated tutors to provide one-to-one or small group tuition across Lancashire on an ad hoc basis.
As part of this role, you may be working with students who are unable to attend their usual provision, are searching for a new provision or simply require additional support. You may be working with additional needs, such as autism, learning difficulties or social, emotional, and mental health needs. Previous experience working with additional needs would be preferred for these positions.
About the Role:
• Deliver tailored tuition sessions to support students in core subjects.
• Work with primary or secondary-aged children, depending on your expertise and preference.
• Provide engaging and effective learning experiences, both in-person and online.
• Adapt sessions to suit individual learning needs and abilities.
Requirements:
• Experience working with children in an educational setting (tutoring, teaching, or mentoring).
• Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, Science, or other core subjects.
• Ability to build positive relationships and boost student confidence.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS, Level 3+ in Education) are desirable but not essential.
Pay rates are negotiable depending on experience, qualifications, and requirements of the role
