We are seeking a number of dedicated Teaching Assistants with a background in youth work to join our team. We have a number of roles available across a dynamic secondary school in Islington. The successful candidate will support students in their academic and personal development, working closely with teachers and staff to create a nurturing learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting classroom activities. • Provide targeted support to students with additional needs. • Utilise youth work experience to mentor and engage students. • Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. • Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing. Requirements: • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant and/or youth worker. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student welfare. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
