Job Title: Youth Worker in a School Setting
Location: Cheshire East Hours: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, term time only. Start Date: September 2024 Employment Type: Long term temporary role Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have experience working with children or young adults, especially those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If so, we invite you to apply for the position of Youth Worker in our dynamic school setting. Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1-1 support or work with small groups of students, helping them to engage positively with their education. • Assist students in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and coping strategies. • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment. • Implement and contribute to individualised support plans tailored to each student’s needs. • Monitor and report on students’ progress, ensuring that their needs are being met.
