Job Title: ASD Teaching assistant
Axcis Education urgently require an ASD Teaching Assistant for a full- time role in Rainham, Havering. About the Job: This role is based in a primary school which received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted in its latest inspection and which has experience rapid growth in recent years, thanks to its strong reputation in the local community. The successful candidates for this role will work on one-to-one basis with children in Year 5 and 6. The students have ADHD and mild to severe autism. The children will require support with communication, classwork, and socialisation. The students may present challenging behaviour, so strong de- escalation skills are required. Candidates with previous experience working with children with SEND needs will be strongly preferred.
