Job Title: Chemistry Teacher
We are currently looking for a Chemistry Teacher (QTS) to teach from KS3 to A-Level for a fantastic secondary school in York. The school are looking for an experienced Chemistry Teacher to teach on a full time basis from September 4th 2024. The right candidate must have previous experience of teaching to A-Level and be comfortable with planning and marking student work, taking part in staff meetings and parents’ evenings. The school is a large mainstream secondary and is currently rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. You will receive the full support of the schools SLT and wider staffing team and can expect a warm welcome along with great rates of pay. Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent • Previous experience teaching Chemistry to KS3, KS4 and KS5 • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
