Job Title: DoL-Science (Director of Learning - Science) Location: Blackpool Employment Type: Full-Time (1 Term with Possibility of Permanent) Working Days: Monday to Friday Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Axcis are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Director of Learning - Science to join a high school in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to lead a science department, initially for one term, with the potential for a permanent position based on performance. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the Science department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. • Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that meet educational standards. • Support and mentor Science teachers to achieve their full potential. • Monitor student progress and implement strategies to enhance achievement. • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. • Engage with parents, guardians, and the wider school community to promote the Science department.
