The successful candidate for this role will work with the entire class at times, but they will work most closely with a small group of students who have SEMH needs. The children may exhibit challenging behaviour, so strong de- escalation skills will be required. You will also be expected to support the children with classwork, socialisation and other activities, such as PE. Candidates with experience of working with secondary school age with SEMH needs will be preferred, however candidates who have worked with SEND children in any school setting will be considered.
