Job Title: Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties Teaching assistant
On behalf of our client in Upminster, Havering, Axcis Education urgently require a Teaching Assistant for a full- time role. Location- Upminster, Havering (RM14). Start Date- September 2024 Duration- Ongoing for 2024- 25 academic year. Pay Rate- £100+ per day (negotiable) Working Hours- 8: 30 A.M. to 3: 30 P.M., Monday to Friday Your New Role: This role is based in a secondary school, which has an excellent leadership team, and which is well located, close to local transport links. The successful candidate for this role will work closely with students who have behavioural difficulties and are at risk of being excluded. You will be expected to support the students with their schoolwork, and to act as a positive behaviour mentor for them. Due to the nature of this role, strong de- escalation skills will be required. Candidates with previous experience in UK schools are strongly preferred.
