Job Title: EYFS, SEND Teaching Assistant
Axcis are working closely with an ASD-specific special school in the Solihull area which has a support staff vacancy for a teaching assistant with experience of working with children with complex ASD and distressing behaviour needs. The role is based in the school's reception class, working children aged 4-5 years. Due to their additional needs the children are currently working at younger ages developmentally, and therefore experience of the EYFS curriculum is required. Type of SEND support experience required: - Complex Autism - Distressing/challenging behaviour towards themselves and adults - Sensory challenges - Personal care needs - Experience supporting children within the EYFS This is a full-time role on an ongoing basis, the school is looking for the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
