Job Title: HLTA - Secondary School
Axcis is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Harrow, that is seeking an experienced HLTA/Assistant Head of Year to join their dynamic team. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual looking for their next challenge, within the senior leadership/special needs space. Key Responsibilities: - Meet with parents, teachers, and carers to create, implement, monitor, and review success plans where necessary. - Act as a point of contact between parents and teachers, ensuring clear and effective communication. - Support and manage Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). - Facilitate conflict resolution meetings to address and resolve any issues - Organise and deliver mentoring sessions to support target learners and enhance their academic success. Requirements: - Relevant or similar experience in an educational setting. - Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service. - Experience supporting ASD, ADHD, challenging behaviour and Social Emotional Mental Health needs will be beneficial - Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
