This rewarding role involves providing one-on-one support to a Key Stage 4 (KS4) student with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and behavioural needs. Role and Responsibilities: Personalised Student Support: Deliver tailored assistance to the student, both in classroom settings and during one-to-one sessions. Behaviour Management: Implement and manage effective behaviour strategies to support the student’s educational and social development. Collaboration: Work closely with teaching staff and the school's SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to ensure consistent support. EHCP Implementation: Assist in developing and executing the student’s Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). Progress Tracking: Monitor the student’s progress and maintain regular communication with staff and parents, ensuring everyone is aligned on the student's needs and goals. Candidate Profile: Relevant Experience: Demonstrable experience supporting children with SEMH needs and managing challenging behaviours. Empathy and Resilience: A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with students. Teamwork & Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
