Job Title: Learning Mentor
Location: Camden

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them reach their full potential? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Mentor to join a primary school in Camden.
About the Role
Our school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), all of whom have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). As a Learning Mentor, you will play a key role in building students’ confidence, resilience, and essential life skills to support their education and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
You will provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. Working closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies, you will help ensure positive outcomes for students. Your role will involve guiding pupils in developing coping strategies and self-regulation skills, allowing them to engage more effectively in their learning. Creating a structured and supportive environment that fosters growth and independence will be a key part of your work.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs and/or ASD. A caring, adaptable, and patient approach is essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Above all, we want someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young learners.
