About the role:
We work closely with a wide network of Stockport schools that are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and adaptable teaching assistants to provide support across a range of settings.
Roles will vary from general classroom assistance to 1:1 or small group interventions, supporting pupils with a wide spectrum of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, speech and language needs, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Have recent classroom-based experience (preferably within the last 2–3 years).
- Are confident supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4.
- Have experience working with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), or a strong desire to gain further experience in this area.
- Demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude.
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
