Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are currently working alongside primary and secondary schools in Tameside and Stockport area who will be looking to take on Teaching Assistants (TA's) in the new academic year. Schools are going to be looking for experienced Level 3 TA's to help give that extra support to children. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in this role, you will be instrumental in providing individualised support to a student with complex SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. Your responsibilities will include: • 1:1 Support: Work closely with a specific student, offering tailored support and intervention to facilitate their learning and development. • Behaviour Management: Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support the student in overcoming barriers to learning and promoting positive behaviour. • Emotional Support: Provide emotional and social support to the student, helping them to develop resilience and coping strategies. • Academic Assistance: Assist the student with their academic work, helping them to understand and complete tasks, and reinforcing learning objectives set by the teacher.
