Role: Lunchtime Cover Supervisor / Midday Assistant Location: Dukinfield Start Date: January 2025 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only (typically 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM) Axcis Education is delighted to partner with a friendly and successful local primary school in Dukinfield, seeking to appoint a Midday Assistant to join their supportive team from January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, supporting their development in a fun and safe environment during lunchtimes. Key Responsibilities: - Supervising children during their lunch breaks, ensuring they are safe, happy, and supported. - Assisting children while they eat, encouraging good table manners, and promoting healthy eating habits. - Organising and supervising playground activities to encourage active and engaging play. - Supporting children in resolving minor conflicts and promoting positive behaviour. - Ensuring the welfare of all children, responding to any minor first aid incidents (training provided if required). - Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
