Job Title: Part-time SEND Teaching Assistant in Reading
Agency: Axcis Education Location: Reading Pay: From £93.48 per day Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 2-3 days a week (same days each week) About the Role: Axcis Education is seeking a compassionate and reliable SEND Teaching Assistant for a part-time, long-term role at an all-ages school (ages 4-18) in Reading. You will support students with a range of needs, including PMLD, autism, challenging behaviour, complex needs and personal care requirements. Assisting with personal care for all pupils is a key aspect of the role. Key Responsibilities: • Provide support to students with diverse SEND needs. • Assist with personal care tasks for students of all ages. • Help create an inclusive, positive learning environment. • Manage and support students with challenging behaviour. • Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance student outcomes. Requirements: • Experience with SEND students in any capacity (personal, professional or voluntary). • Compassionate, patient and proactive approach. • No formal qualifications required.
