PMLD Teaching assistant- Axcis is currently supporting a wonderful school in Tamworth, Staffordshire that specifically provides care and support for students ages 3-18 with a range of Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). They’re currently looking for a caring and hardworking individual to support their amazing students on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis as a PMLD Teaching Assistant. Key Responsibilities: • Working 1:1 or 2:1 with students with a range of profound learning disabilities • Attend to a pupil’s specific needs and follow all care plans in place. • Providing support to students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully engage and participate in activities. • Supporting students with various ranges of ASD that may include supporting nonverbal students, students with limited speech and challenging behavior. This role may also include supporting individuals with personal care.
