Axcis are currently working alongside a fantastic Secondary School in Cannock, Staffordshire who are looking for someone to support a specific student on a 1:1 basis who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and exhibits challenging behavior. The opportunity: • To become a Secondary Teaching Assistant • To work 1:1 with ASD and challenging behavior • £84 - £100 per day, please be aware that pay rates will depend on skills and experience • Term Time Only • Based in Cannock, Staffordshire • Starting ASAP until the end of the academic year - Monday-Friday 08:15am-4:00pm • Fulltime and Part time available Key Responsibilities: • Attend to the pupil’s specific needs and follow all care plans in place. • Ensuring the safety of the student and supporting/ deescalating when necessary to do so • Providing 1:1 support inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully engage and participate in activities.
