If so, Axcis Education have the perfect job for you. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Positive Behaviour Mentor at a Pupil Referral Unit in Cardiff. This role will focus on supporting students with challenging behaviour and social emotional mental health aged 14 to 16 years old. Each class is made up of 6 students to ensure that they are all given support and attention. The ideal candidate will be able to act as a positive role model, use their initiative and be patient with the students. The school prides themselves on having a welcoming, inclusive and purposeful learning environment. Working hours for this role are between 8.30 to 3.30 and the daily rate of pay starts at £93.48. Suitable candidates for this role may have a background in: - Care Work - Support Work - Military - Police - SEND/SEMH TA If you have previous experience of working with individuals with similar kinds of needs and are available on a full-time and long-term basis, then please do apply! Requirements for this role include a passion for supporting students with SEND, strong communication and written English skills, Right to Work in UK and an enhanced DBS on the update service.
