We are working with a mainstream primary school in Smethwick who are seeking a full-time SEND teaching assistant to support into preparing and delivering interventions with small groups and also working on a 1-to-1 basis. You will be supported by the SENCo and also the teaching staff from day one with resources on creating and using existing intervention templates. This role will predominantly be working with years 1 to 3. The students have been at the school since reception and are receptive but mostly just require extra support to access the mainstream curriculum. You will need to have previous in-school experience to be considered for this role, however formal qualifications will not be required to be considered as the school are keen to find the right personality as this role will be long-term for the academic year. This role will be working Monday to Friday, during term-time only, working hours of 8:30am until 3:30pm. You will be paid on a weekly basis with the daily rate starting from £95.29 per day dependent on experience.
