Job Title: Primary Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant required!
Location: Aston, Birmingham
Start Date: November 11th
Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Long-term, full academic year with potential for permanent placement
Pay: £95 - £98 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
About the Role
Our mainstream primary school seeks an empathetic SEND Teaching Assistant to support students aged 3-11 with varied needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language challenges, complex needs, SEMH and behavioural difficulties. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to engage deeply in an inclusive school environment.
Who We’re Looking For
• Passionate, resilient and adaptable, with strong verbal and written communication
• Experience with SEND or in supportive roles such as care work, mental health, or disability support is beneficial
• Team-oriented yet able to work independently and adapt to varied student needs
Ideal candidates are care workers, youth workers and mental health professionals with a dedication to fostering student growth.
