Position: SEND Teaching Assistant (Reception Class) Location: Primary School with a Large SEND Department Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Salary: £90 - £105 per day (depending on experience) Benefits: Free on-site parking About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and supportive primary school with a well-established SEND department. This role is focused on supporting a child in the reception class with cerebral palsy, helping with personal care and manual handling throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities Assisting with personal care for a reception-aged child Supporting the child with mobility and manual handling Ensuring the child is engaged and supported during class activities Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team to provide tailored support Full-time commitment: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM About the School The school has a large, multi-tiered SEND department with a focus on providing exceptional support to children with a wide range of needs.
