Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Do you have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join local primary schools in the Stockport and Tameside areas. Position: Learning Support Assistant Location: Stockport and Tameside Daily rate: £95.50-£120 per day depending on experience Contract: Full-time and Part-time positions available Start Date: After October Half term About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students with a range of SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and behavioural needs. Your role will involve providing one-on-one and small group supporting, adapting lessons to meet individual needs, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Requirements: - Previous experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting in the UK - Knowledge of SEN strategies and techniques (experience with Autism, ADHD, or behavioural challenges is an advantage) - A passion for supporting children's development and helping them reach their potential - To assist in the planning, recording and implementation of the curriculum for pupils, including those with SEND and / or an EHCP - To monitor and evaluate the child’s learning and provide feedback to the teacher - DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a DBS Apply Today!
