Role and Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant, you will: - Support the class teacher in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons. - Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those with ASD. - Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). - Help with the preparation of learning materials and resources. - Support children with their social and emotional development. - Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during school hours. Qualifications and Experience: - Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a reception or early years setting. - Proven experience working with children with ASD. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children. - Relevant qualifications or training in education and/or special needs support are desirable.
